Chapter 141: His Asset
Marcella repeated what she told Randy. She didn’t want Randy to reveal who she was. Rosy didn’t understand why Marcella was insisting either but she promised that she will tell her father.
Marcella thanked Rosy for the dinner she brought from her home before sending her off. Rosy had brought Joey here because he needed his formula and to leave dinner for them. Rosy didn’t have to do all that. Marcella truly was thankful for her. Randy’s family has been a great support for her whenever she needed them.
When she came back inside, Tony was setting up the table. Marcella went to check up on Joey. Although Rosy said that he was sleeping deeply, Marcella wanted to take a peek just in case. Seeing the darling boy sleeping peacefully, her lips curved up.
She picked her change of clothes. She was hungry but she needed a warm bath before bed. Just as she stepped out, Tony was standing by the door. He looked at her hand and grabbed everything.
"Eat first," he grabbed her hand and brought her to the dining room.
"But I..." Marcella was about to refuse him but he interjected.
"I am hungry. We can take a bath later..."
Marcella sat after washing her hands and face. Tony filled her plate with the lasagna.
"That’s enough," she stopped him. She was hungry but she couldn’t eat that much.
Tony added a little more even after she said that. She had to hide the plate from his reach for him to stop.
