Around a year after she left the house, Noah Fletcher made an open request to Don DeAngelo for the hand of his youngest daughter. Don DeAngelo ignored Fletcher.
Many speculated that Louis Fletcher was the mystery guy Bambina slept with as Fletcher tried to manipulatively force the don’s hand into agreeing to his request.
Tony didn’t know whether Marcella knew about the proposal. He couldn’t face Marcella after "that" night. The don too was angry at him and avoided him. He didn’t know what happened in the DeAngelo household at that time. He’s only heard rumors.
Apparently, Louis Fletcher was taken with the youngest DeAngelo. Love at first sight. He had seen her in an interschool competition and had fallen for her no-nonsense, bold attitude. One of Louis’ friends told him that Louis was lovesick—he was so in "love" he got physically sick and unable to function as usual. Louis told the truth to his father and that was the reason Noah was so forceful.
She got together with Aiden Fogarty (whom her father never approved) and that brought an end to that debacle.
Is Louis Fletcher still pining over Marcella?
Tony let out a deep breath. When she changed jobs around the time she broke up with Aiden, he was glad she found this job. He knew the Fletchers are indebted to Don DeAngelo and she would be safe working there.
But if Louis is still pining over her, then...
Tony flinched as someone grabbed the paper bag he was holding.
"Tony! Did you bring lunch for me?" Cindy held his arm. "I was waiting for you to contact me after that night but you... I am mad at you, you know?"
Tony looked at Cindy. She was pouting and when his eyes met with hers, she smiled.
