Chapter 477: Sons’ Weddings
After staying with Baobei for three months, Xing returned back to the city and Chenglei welcomed her even outside the city gates.
She brought back Ming Shuang, Haru’s daughter back with her, since Shurei insisted that it would be better for her if she is raised with Xing. Xing had left Shuang with her parents a couple years back since Haru nagged her to leave his daughter in his home.
Xing worried about Shurei and to leave her but she seemed to have composed herself after her husbands death. Baobei now taking on the business, travelled a lot and their second son mostly stayed in the sea with the Ouyang Navy and trained.
Xing only left after making sure Shurei was taken care of and hired some maids to look after her. It seemed like she sank into her own world of embroidery after Haru left and she found solace in doing the thing she loved the most next to her husband and so Xing let her. It would clearly take a long time for her to get over her husband’s death and for now she accepted her husband’s death which was the first step in the right direction.
As Xing entered their Manor, there were a bunch of kids welcoming her making Xing grin.
" That silver haired one is not ours, is he?", Xing joked as she saw little Zai there along with his sister. Apart from them, Seiren’s daughter was there too with her training sword.
"Aunty Xing, teach me more", she was enthusiastic.
For Xing, holding a sword was a great passion. She taught her kids everything she knew along with Chenglei and Seiren’s daughter joined her training. Little Zai preferred Chenglei and dopged his sword style.
Lianlian adopted her technique the most and was pretty good at his age. Xing knew the day her son would be able to beat her won’t be far and she was rather proud of it. Lianlian also had a lot of interest in books and read as much as he could. Xing could see Chenglei in him as he was a genius and strong in all ways.
Feifei rarely visited them and stayed with his Grand father. As Chenglei predicted, he was a Huang in character and had no interest in martial arts and liked the writing brush more. He reminded her of Rijun.
Her daughters were the eyes of the family pampered by their parents and also their brothers.
The elder one Little Zhu likes to stay in and was interested in indoor activities, just like her second brother and had an extreme interest in embroidery. She reminded Xing of her mother. Xing arranged for a tutor to specially teach her.
