Chapter 466: No Business?
A celebratory banquet was arranged in honour of the soldiers who fought in the war and brought victory to the Wind Kingdom.
Chenglei and Xing attended the banquet with their kids and so did Seiren and Maya. Some of thr Envoys from the United kingdoms of the South also attended.
Although both the families didn’t participate in the entire war but only a single battle, that was an important battle that proved the magnificence of the Wind Kingdom and ended the war too. And so they were celebrated along with the soldiers who fought the war for weeks.
As Xing entered, everyone noticed the slightly protruding belly of Princess Consort Jin and were flabbergasted.
"The pregnant Consort fought in the front lines and won for us?"
"Prince Jin vowed revenge for the competition where the Consort hurt her hand. Will he take offence for the Consort fighting in the battle while pregnant? "
Everyone got aware of the situation they are in and decided not to even speak bad about Princess Consort Jin.
Some who doubted the news they got about Xing fighting in the battle changed their mind since there was definite proof they couldn’t refute.
The banquet went on and the Envoys gave the best gifts from their kingdoms and then made a pretty bold request to annex their kingdoms with the Wind Kingdom.
Xing noticed Chenglei sitting unmoved while everyone else where flabbergasted by that request. She looked at the envoys with a smirk. Of course the envoys sent by the Southern Kingdoms were asked to make peace but they are selling out their kingdom.

"Why would We bother with your kingdoms?", he was blunt and showed himself to be not interested in their proposal.
