"Our struggles are all over, Chenglei", Xing’s hand hugging Chenglei’s neck tightened and her voice changed to whisper. "Finally!"
"Isn’t the last trial not over yet?", he asked. From what she told him it would be over only when he is able to confess to her.

"Yes", his warm breath fell on her lips and she could feel his bliss as he could hear her confession.

Xing didn’t know when she slept but she had forgotten about the baby and went to a deep sleep in Chenglei’s embrace. Suddenly she felt cold and something heavy on her and she tried to open her eyes only to see the blurred image of Chenglei. She could feel something wet and warm on her neck.
Seeing her slightly awake, Chenglei bit her ears, "JiaXing.... It’s been long...", his magnetic deep voice almost begged as he gently traced on her cheeks while laying on top of her supported by his elbows.
