Chapter 424: The Fallen Dragon
The Consort who was worried looking at the son of heavens in deep slumber, tried to check his breathing when he opened his eyes with an obvious smirk in his face since he could feel the hot gaze on him.
"Am I that handsome, my Consort? Do you want to lick me? ", the Emperor turned and looked at the Consort making her immediately retract the hand she was about to stretch to touch his face.
Even he didn’t know where these kind of odd words were in his vocabulary but what’s spilled cannot be picked back up and so he maintained his composure.
Also he is the Emperor and he can do whatever!
’Geez! This man is too dangerous’, the woman now pinned under him thought. ’He is too handsome to get close to. And what’s with this ambiguous position? My face tingles! ’ .
"Your Majesty is obviously handsome", she answered politely, trying to not let her inner thoughts visible on her face.
"Ha.. Ha... You are really interesting", he laughed. He didn’t expect that reply. And it seemed like she means it too.
As he looked at her brown eyes staring at him, he could see a familiar expression in it although she seemed to be emotionless. Both of them were too close to each other and their breaths mingled making the situation more ambiguous.
What is that emotion in her eyes? He wondered. What he realised from spending the night with her was that she didn’t have much feelings for him and she was pretty friendly towards him. She seemed to be not of the scheming, lying sort of women and even though she is wild at times, she is an honest and affectionate person at heart.

Without realising, he was gently stroking her cheek with his big hand while he was balancing with his other elbow with her hair sprawled in the pillow and he could sense her flinching slightly. Although he could feel that it was not out of her aversion to his touch but it seemed like she was being bashful.
’How adorable!’
