Xing sat under a tree hugging herself and it took a lot of her self-control to not tear her clothes away. She had never felt like this before and in the deep jungle where no humans can reach, she felt terrified and alone. If Fei Lian was able to get to her, he’d have just brought her to his Palace by now and she wouldn’t be feeling scared.
Is life without gods around, this terrifying?
Since she had no destination in mind as she wandered, she didn’t know where she ended up and she wasn’t in the mental ability to concentrate hard to get back to her home.
She could hear the growl of Mo Chen and he got to her and laid beside her rubbing his head on her back to sooth her. Her mind went entirely blank as she couldn’t even think properly.
Xing felt a little better with someone beside her but there was no sign of her sickness reducing and she sat there hugging her knees and soon she was joined by Pengpeng and his mate.
Pengpeng tried to carry her back but she was in no condition to move around and so Pengpeng stopped trying and laid curling up on her other side.
With the three animals enveloping around her, Xing felt a bit safe and she tried to get to figure out what is wrong with her.
