Chapter 368: Broken
"You, perverted dragon!", Xing tried to push the one who finally got their wish of kissing her away and she could not help but chuckle at the face with lips still pouty and leaning in for another kiss. Xing didn’t want to exert too much pressure pushing Ayane away because she noted she was pregnant.
Guess, everything got better between Ayane and Yi Kwan.
But Ayane was still leaning to kiss, "Come on, Mingxia! Just one more... For luck... Please ", she begged in her husky voice that could be mistook easily as a male voice.
"You are nasty!", Xing laughed off while trying to push her away holding her shoulders and her anger at the Water Emperor went away looking at Ayane all bright and cheerful.
"Well, MINGXIA! Why not ? ", the cold voice of Chenglei stopped Xing from calling out for Yi Kwan.
Ayane noticed the smile in Xing’s face turning into a painful scoff and she let go of Xing and noticed for the first time the cold looking man resembling the Water Emperor leaning on the door frame. They look a lot similar except for their eye colour and their demeanor. This one looked much colder and aloof. He seemed more majestic too, like he is an immortal.
Is he the one Mingxia loves? Is he jealous thinking I’m a man? Ayane wondered and tried to clear out the misunderstanding but the sneering voice of the man made her freeze,
"Apparently you...."
"SHUT UP! SHUT THE F*CK UP, LI CHENGNUO!", Xing screamed making the entire room go silent and she didn’t realise the entire room was vibrating by her anger sending tremors through the wind.
Xing knew Chenglei is going to say something that is going to make her break and she was not willing to hear it. Without knowing she addressed him with the name she never used before because in her heart she knew Lu Chenglei will never berate her or he would never call her ’Mingxia’. She hated that name when it came out of his mouth and it felt worse than when he called her ’JiaXing’.
Chenglei saw the one with the rims of her eyes red and filled with tears walking towards him and froze. Without even thinking twice, he was about to say something that would not have been able to be taken back.
But why is she kissing another man? Judging by the Dragon coronet on his head and the dragon robes he is wearing, he must be the Earth Emperor. Why did she let him kiss her and she is giggling at him? Did she not know it broke his heart to see another man with her?
