Chapter 354: Starting A Day
After dinner Xing felt extremely tired and wanted to go to bed immediately and for some reason Chenglei followed her to sleep too. His hair was dripping wet after his bath and she helped him dry it and he, with a plastered apologetic face explained her that since there is only one courtyard, there is only one bed and since he felt tired, he wanted to sleep in the bed too.
This guy! He planned this right from the start, didn’t he? Xing got furious. But she didn’t want to miss this chance to sleep together either.
"Then you’ll have to promise me something", Xing raised her eyebrows and looked at him playfully.
"Let’s talk in bed", he smirked and before she composed herself swept her off her feet and carried her to the bed.
"You seem pretty used to handling women, Lord Li! ", she buried her head in his shoulder as she wrapped her arms around his neck as she was carried.
"You’ll have to believe me, you’re the only woman I’ve been with, ever! ", his low voice reverberated in her ears, "I bet Lin Mubai blabbered everything about me to you"
She chuckled making bursts of her warm breath reach his neck making his entire body hot.

"You two are one pair of superior and subordinate.... How would a loyal person like him say a single word against you? He worships you!", she teased him.

Chenglei was sad but took a deep breath and placed her gently on the bed.
Xing noticed a flute on the side table and picked it up. She remembered Chenglei telling her that he plays the flute and she wanted to listen to him.
