Xing wanted to erase that smile that looked so provoking from Shihong’s face. "Winner gets him!", she said cutting her forefinger and the blood summoned the Divine Sword and she saw the look of utter disbelief on Shihong’s face and the cowering of the halberd.

Xing could feel the mouth of the cave closing with some sort of spell. The Gods must have been put that spell to ensure Old Rong to die inside the cave without escaping. His psyche could latch on to someone else as psyche would be viable for a particular amount of time even after it leaves the body of a god.
"Scared yet...?", she asked smirking to Shihong and before he composed himself, she drew the sword out of the scabbard and by the time the scabbard reached the floor, the sword was by Shihong’s face as she jumped up with her crimson robes fluttering and Shihong blocked her attack with the halberd instinctively and he could not have a grip on the ground as he slid backwards as she was already pushing him with wind.
" HaiFeng! Let’s destroy our enemy", she spoke to the sword and the entire cave was brightened by a bright golden glow followed by the sound of metal breaking.
*Clang*
The halberd that was broken into two pieces fell on the rocky floor with a noise.
Xing’s sword broke its momentum by plunging into the right shoulder of Shihong and Xing pulled out her sword mercilessly from his shoulder making Shihong shudder in pain.
Dead! He is dead! Old Rong is finally dead! It’s over! It’s finally over!
Xing sighed in relief and looked at Shihong kneeling in front of her. She could feel the presence of the god hovering and she knew if she killed Shihong now, there is a possibility that he’d latch on to Shihong’s body. So she just waited to see what could be done.
That’s when she heard the familiar voice calling to her. Chenglei who was outside the cave called to her as he could not enter in the cave. Even though he knew she was inside, he could not see her or hear her. So he called for her wondering if she is fine.
