"So, it’s all along him! Yet you hid it, dad!" Mason yelled at his father.
Maynard Boris stood silent at his son’s words.
"Why, dad? Didn’t he ruin enough? Why did you hide this thing? How can you do this? What if she gets hurt?" Mason asked feeling irritated.
He was trying to make it up for the mistakes he did in the past with Cedric. Yet whenever he thought life gave him another chance to redeem himself, someone must ruin it. And he never thought his father would do this to him.
"Dad, do you want him back?" Mason asked in a low voice. For which Maynard Boris said nothing. He looked at him for a second before lowering his head.
"I got the answer!" Mason said through his gritting teeth.
"All these days, I endured everything for you. I thought you would have at least one last soft corner at me. But I am wrong. From now, I will see how Boris’s group sustains. I will leave it in the state that bastard left this. Then start building it up again! I will see who is capable of doing that with me holding back! Don’t worry, I will make sure your talented son will be able to show his talent to you in building up the empire!" Mason yelled at him.
With that, he turned around and was about to walk away.
"Oh, by the way, do you know Eleanor is the biological daughter of Anthony Thorne Hallard, he went on a hunt about the kidnapper. Pray to God that he returns with life to you!" Mason said making Maynard’s heart drop into the pit of his stomach.
"Mason, my child, do something, save him," he begged.
"We are talking about Anthony Thorne Hallard. The one who could save him is his wife. No one knows where she is," Mason said before he stormed out, leaving Maynard alone crying and weeping.
