100 Ways to Solve a Murder

Chapter 82: Act 3--The Suicide

2 days later, Guy’s ICU

Marco walked inside the white tinted room, eyes looking through the wide glass. It was 2 weeks ago when he last saw her in her home. Now, she lied there, on the other side of the glass, a tube stuck in her throat.

Looking lifeless.

She was thinner than he remembered. Her skin didn’t glow with youth and health, instead it was pale like paper and dry.

She looked so fragile.

She had let herself go.

She let depression take her.

Elle stood beside him, looking at the same view of Sam lying on the bed. Machines and tubes stuck on her body.

Elle’s eyes were red from crying all night. Marco looked at her, eyes demanding ’what the fuck happened?’

Elle hiccuped, and she wiped her tears, trying to calm herself. "The maid came in as scheduled this morning and found her inside the tub, Marco." she started, imagining it. She should have been with her. She shouldn’t have left her alone.

"Lab results show she overdosed herself with sleeping pills. She tried to kill herself, Marco." Elle said, gritting her teeth in anger at the redhead, and most of all herself.

Marco looked at Sam through the wide windows, and he clenched his own jaw.
