Chapter 5: Visitors In My Bedroom

I sat up abruptly, the rest of the sleep evaporating into thin air as my heart began to pound against my ribs. My eyes widened as they began to move away from the doorway, towards the bed I was sitting in.
"Please leave. You shouldn’t be here." I said with as much force as I could muster, my eyes flying around for anything I could use as a weapon. There was nothing I could use to defend myself and that made more panic lurch through me.
I saw them briefly back at Malachi’s party but I thought they’d be too busy celebrating with their friends. What the hell are they doing in here?
"Why not? It’s no longer fun back in the party, which was why we decided to come find you so we could all have a little fun together. What do you think?" Eli asked as he stopped at the foot of my bed.
At this point, I had stopped breathing. There was absolutely nowhere to run to.
The last time I was cornered by them- two days ago, when Malachi saved me, he asked me to be careful next time. I was being careful this time- I’m literally in my bedroom and I did lock the door, so how did they even get in?
Oh heavens.
"Leave my bedroom." I struggled to get the word out, and the boys laughed after exchanging looks with each other.
As Theo and Cyrus began to close the distance between the sides of the bed, not knowing what else to do, I grabbed the sheet and held it against myself protectively, feeling beyond relieved that I hadn’t undressed after I returned after the party.
But does that even matter anyway? From what they’re implying, they’re gonna try forcing themselves on me and my cover would instantly be blown up.
"You sound so adorable." Eli said, placing a foot on the bed and I almost passed out.
