Chapter 3 - 1: First Encounter in the Elevator (Part 3)
In front of the other elevator stood two tall and upright men. Shen Jianian didn’t look directly at them, focusing intently on the red numbers flickering above the elevator, but from the corner of her eye, she happened to catch a glimpse of their slender figures.
After a moment, the other elevator opened first, and the two men stepped inside.
Yin Shuyao couldn’t wait any longer. She tugged on Shen Jianian, discontent with her slow reactions: "What are you standing around for, waiting forever? Didn’t you see that this elevator has arrived?"
The high heels didn’t fit well either, and when Shen Jianian was suddenly pulled with force, the heavy cello on her back tilted to one side, causing her to stagger.
Once she barely regained her balance, she followed Yin Shuyao into the elevator.
"Stand over there, you’re stepping on my dress! Shen Jianian, do you use your eyes just for the sake of it?"
Shen Jianian had just managed to steady herself when Yin Shuyao gave her a hard shove, causing her to take a few steps back, and the bulky white cello case on her back knocked against a man’s chest.
The man, whose chin was poked, furrowed his brows and had to tilt his head back to avoid the collision.
Lu Yanzhi, watching this scene beside him, chuckled softly, touching his nose and remarked, "Old Fu, move aside. You’re in their way here."
The man called "Old Fu" cast a distant and indifferent glance over, a gaze so cold it was filled with warning.
