Chapter 125: A Favor
Nina sighed while looking at her phone. She went to the rooftop to call Andrew, but she was standing there for an hour and still couldn’t decide to dial his number.
She wanted to take the job Lory gave her, but she wasn’t sure if Luke would agree with the interview. It was just a few months ago when she reappeared in front of her friends after betraying them, and she couldn’t tell if they trust her completely.
And she didn’t want Andrew to know about the company’s status.
She sighed again and bit her lip. She had to try or she would regret it. She thought to herself.
"Maybe I should try calling Alora, and not Luke." She whispered.
She sighed again and finally decided to make a call.
"Hello? H–Hi! It’s me, Nina. I have a favor to ask." She started.
It was quiet on the other line until she heard a sigh.
"Is this about Luke?" Alora asked.
"Yeah. I just got a job and my boss wanted an interview with Luke. I know you both hate the media, but it’s my job." She said.
There was another silence again. She felt a little nervous talking to Alora on the phone, and she became anxious when she’s so quiet.
"Are you asking me as a friend or as part of that company?"
