Chapter 88: Your Mom’s My Ex-Wife
The girl was staring at him intently. Andrew was confused. He couldn’t understand the reason for the girl’s sudden appearance in front of him.
He stepped outside, turning his head from left to right. Then he turned his gaze to the little girl again. He could see a lot of resemblance between Nina and her daughter but couldn’t see any similarity to James.
"What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" He asked with a frown face.
The little girl didn’t say a word and stepped inside his apartment without a word.
"Hey! Don’t barge into someone’s house uninvited." He exclaimed.
Brie still didn’t say anything and was looking around as if memorizing every detail of the house.
Andrew was starting to get pissed with the girl’s silence. He was confused and curious at the same time. He sighed and walked towards the couch to sit down.
"If you won’t tell me why you’re here, I’ll kick you out." He said while looking at Brie intently.
Brie stared at her father. She wanted to scream the word dad, but she knew he would not believe him. She came to him to see what kind of man he was.
"I-I ran away!" She exclaimed.
"What? Why?" He asked.
Brie gulped. The only reason she ran away from home was to see the man in front of her. But she couldn’t voice it out to him.
