Chapter 240: He started resenting his father
Seo-Jun originally didn’t plan to end his stepmother’s life. He was just doing as she had instructed and was choking her, but his emotions took control, and he wished she were dead.

He didn’t know why his father was apologizing, but this made his heart ache even more, and he cried, holding his father he hadn’t held for four years.
"I’m the reason you had to go through all this. Forgive me, son."
Since Ha-eun had all the videos, including the first video where she led Seo-Jun to the room blindfolded and made the ignorant and innocent Seo-Jun do all those things, it was clear that she was evil.
She had done this to a young boy, young enough to be her own son and she even threatened him.
