Seo-Jun looked at me for a while with a somewhat surprised expression on his face and then chuckled once more.

"Jo-Pil, did you think of this?" He asked, interlocking his fingers. "You said not to read your diary without your permission so of course, we’d follow your words," he shrugged.
"Yes, that’s my diary but this is..." I paused and looked at the book in front of me. Ah, why didn’t I realize this?
"You see? If I had picked up that book and read it, it would’ve seemed like I tried to read your diary and then discovered it was the novel you were writing for me." He explained. "Since they have the same back cover."
In other words, he didn’t even know I was writing his book, and these days, I’ve been writing in my diary, so there was no way he’d suddenly guess that the book in front of me was his own.
I almost messed up there.
"I would’ve definitely been the criminal, don’t you think?"
"Ah, sorry." I quickly apologized. "But I’m glad you didn’t take it even if you knew it was your book." I said as I got up from the chair.
He looked at me, wondering what I was on about.
I picked up the book and then approached him.
I don’t know why he was sitting by my balcony window and having such an aesthetic appeal, looking like a gentleman he most certainly wasn’t, but he did put his jacket over me so I wouldn’t get close and he respected my privacy, let me sleep as long as I could and didn’t try to do anything funny.
