Chapter 155: He was such a menace

I could feel my entire body trembling. I was upset but I couldn’t do anything about it as I had a secret to hide.
What was I so scared of, that I was hiding the fact that I had nearly or even scalded the back of my neck, you might wonder.
Well, think of it this way.
Right now, I have the maids bathing me in the morning and evening, and though I’m not complaining since the bath treatments they give are so relaxing... They’re probably the reason I can still move after being drained of my vigor by the likes of my four masters daily... But I don’t want to be bathed for too long.
I was planning to try and convince my masters later that I could bathe on my own so the maids didn’t need to tend to me anymore.
But with this unfortunate incident that made it seem like I couldn’t handle a simple shower alone, there was no way they would allow me to take baths on my own in the future.
That was what I was trying to avoid by being so secretive and adamantly claiming I was all right.
I even went as far as saying I was hungry even though I wasn’t to get Jin-Yeok off my neck.
With the others lying down, they wouldn’t be able to see my back either.
