Chapter 56: Alright, I’m ready to spend the night with my Hyung
On the first day of my 'job' Ki-hoon faced defeat. Min-Cheol won most of my smiles by being his jovial self and I couldn't help it.
He made sure to count every smile and I couldn't even do that because my face was buried in the book I was reading. He'd call my name, and then when I raised my head, he'd smile with all he had, and that got me smiling.
I couldn't help it, he was cute and a ray of sunshine when he wasn't being a scheming brat.
But I guess this was also part of his schemes. Ki-hoon couldn't even hold a candle to Min-Cheol's attempts. I don't know if it was because he was shy or he was just plain confident that I'd smile just from looking at his handsome face.
Well, I did smile since he was handsome but not as much as with Min-Cheol.
But seriously, did these kids have nothing to do that they were spending the whole day suffo- I mean, staying with me?
I was already tired of them. I needed my space.
But I was surprised when by the end of the day, I still hadn't seen Jin-Yeok. I mean, the conversation we shared the previous night had such a deep tone and meaning but it wasn't something that would get him to stay away from me, right?
I bet he was just buying time so he wouldn't answer my question.
He knows that if his answer turned out to be no, it'd give me enough reason to doubt him when he said he was growing fond of me. And if he said yes, he'd have no excuse to hide any of his dark deeds from me.
In any case, that was one less master to bother me for the day.
