Chapter 1113 - 1109: GETTING HER TITLE DEEDS & VISITING THE JEONG RESIDENCE AGAIN
Another night passed peacefully and the next day, it was busy as before. Since she needed to clear the schedule and get the work done in advance, the whole team got busy.
Perhaps, it was because she treated them to an expensive dinner that they were all fired up.
The work that was supposed to be finished in two days was completed quickly in a day and it was very satisfactory.
They finished later than yesterday, and Diamond still treated everyone for dinner, and thanked them for their hard work. As a result, she returned to the hotel almost midnight, which was a first.
However, she was still energetic and didn’t feel like sleeping at all.
After a refreshing bath, she started working. Going through her emails, responding to those that were important and needed responses. She also checked the books and with Andrea on the side, she understood everything perfectly and didn’t need to look like a fool.
She also chatted with Gael, more of like replying to his messages but chatted for a while with Waylon, who was acting spoiled like a new bride.
She had a great time chatting with those two, and in the midst, even sent a message to Russ but with nothing flirty. She simply asked about Gracelynn and Penny. There was no response and she didn’t wait for it.
She didn’t forget her family in the process as well as answering to some of her friends she chatted with the most, including Nolan and Wyatt. She felt much more at ease this night compared to other days. Perhaps, it was because she found someone quite striking and to her liking, thus moving on very swift without any hesitation.
There was no need to mourn anymore. If Wyatt was in love with a girl, she would have some hope for the day he would move on and perhaps look at her, but he was in love with Nolan. That changes everything. Who knows?
By now, what if Wyatt had confessed and they were working things out?
It was easy to bend someone but straightening the person, that was a challenge, and one she wasn’t willing to take. It was better for her to shift her focus on others and move on.
All that took her almost three hours before she finally went to sleep.
Three hours later, she was wide awake and sighed wryly as she looked at the time.
Her biological clock at times really works like magic and at times, doesn’t seem to be online. Since she was awake, she focused on her morning chores, which included, training, singing, checking the farm and the ranch.
Once she was done, she took a bath, wore pretty clothes and this day, since she wasn’t going anywhere that morning, she visited the restaurant for breakfast and enjoyed the buffet plus extra dishes without caring about those people giving her the curious gaze with her volume of food.
After breakfast, she received a call from the real estate agency who was on the way to her to deliver the finalized title deeds. She left that job to Iseul as she had other plans.
A car was going to pick her up around 10 am, so before that time arrives, she went on a walk and checked the nearby places for an hour or so before returning to the hotel where she changed into another outfit. This time she didn’t wear a skirt but picked a green short-sleeve fit and flare midi dress which clinched the waist with an A-line skirt, with its hemline falling below the knee and above the ankle.
She paired it up with a pair of nude heels, and donned herself with something bold – rubies. The contrasting look made her eyes twinkle and she was loving what she was seeing.
She didn’t forget to take a few pictures for herself to upload later. That was the life of an internet celebrity. She was already used to it.
As for her hair, she simply did a wrapped bun this time and not a high pony tail.
By the time she was done, the driver who came to fetch her had also arrived. Ji-an, Madam Lim’s secretary came to pick her up as well, making the road much shorter as she had someone to talk with compared to the first time that they met where they traveled in silence.
While Diamond was on her way to the Jeong residence, Iseul met the representative who came to deliver the title deeds. She signed on Diamond’s behalf inwardly shocked at how fast Diamond got a house.
She must have planned long about it, right?
To think that a foreigner was that quick to buy a house in her country while she doesn’t even an acre of land, it made her feel competitive. Although she couldn’t be on par with her boss, at least getting a roof over her head shouldn’t be that difficult, right?
After all, her earnings in the past month weren’t small, thanks to the commissions earned by working for Diamond.
With the title deeds in hand, she texted Diamond before taking them to the penthouse and locked them safely in the safe to await Diamond’s return.
Meanwhile, Diamond, still on the road received the text from Iseul and a smile broke out on her face. With the house now in her name, all that remain was to see it in person and see what plans to make for it. After all, a house can’t remain idle. She can lease it out for other tourists and earn some few bucks.
She had looked it up, or rather, Andrea had done a lot of work regarding the topic. So, she was fully aware that as long as she wants to lease her own property, she must obtain an official Foreign Tourist Urban Homestay permit, register the house as a business and comply with strict property-type and location rules.
For this, she would need Madam Lim to interfere and help her a bit.
After all, just as her earlier thoughts, having a local shark help her with the matters was more efficient than doing it in person.
It was simply complicated.
