Diamond sighed inwardly as she listened to Lady Grace’s words.
Although her reasoning didn’t sit well with her, she understood the mother’s worry. Every mother, at least the ones who are responsible, always wishes for the best for their children.
They want to see them with the right people, walking on the right path and just living happily ever.
She didn’t know what Lady Grace’s son was like for her to push him into such a path. But from her tone, she could judge that her son might have been hurt too much for her liking.
Rather than letting his heart get broken because he had been cheated on, just because he didn’t have time for the girl, his mother would prefer he enter a relationship with Diamond.
