Diamond didn’t forget to check the room as she sat down closer to Izzy. Unlike the room she got in Frin, this one was a bit on the lower side.
With a glance, she could tell that Izzy wasn’t as rich as she made herself to be. If she knew that she was a VIP member, Diamond couldn’t help but feel curious. How would she react?
It would definitely be a wonderful scene.
"Thank you for coming!" Izzy toasted to her a while later, after handing Diamond a glass of champagne.
Diamond lifted her glass as she toasted back to Izzy with a mild smile on her face. "I wouldn’t miss this for the world. It’s very rare for me to make friends!" winking at Izzy playfully.
Izzy’s eyes squinted as she looked at the glass of champagne for a brief second and responded cheerfully, "We are fated!"
Diamond chuckled as she brought the glass to her lips, her gaze on Izzy, who could barely hide her joy. "Indeed, we are fated!" Diamond echoed as her hand froze for a bit, making Izzy panic for a second before she took a sip.
Izzy, seeing Diamond drinking the champagne, sighed relievedly and cheered up.
Feeling more relaxed now that Diamond had drank the champagne, Izzy started throwing questions at her as if she truly wanted to make friends.
