"I hope that everything you heard was pleasant!" Diamond said bashfully upon seeing how eager this lady was to befriend her.
All her customers were family, at least those who didn’t mean harm to her. Besides, this lady had given her so much face. So how could she not feel a bit close to her?
Samantha smiled upon seeing how friendly Diamond was. She wasn’t expecting her to be so approachable like that. Having such a pretty lady calling her Mrs. all the time, she felt weird. For a moment, she felt as if someone would compare the two of them. How the other was a Ms. and she was a Mrs. and it stung a lot.
