"Are we really going?" Ruby asked for the umpteenth time as the four of them entered the Pia EV6 SUV.
"Are you doubting your sister?" Diamond clicked her tongue as she settled in the driver’s seat.
"I ...."
"Since sister says that, we will go, then let’s trust her. Otherwise, why will we be wearing such nice clothes?" Garnet stated as she looked at Ruby, wondering why Ruby just couldn’t believe that Diamond was so powerful.
As Diamond’s personal bodyguard, who was technologically advanced, she had been busy talking to Andrea, so she knew how much Diamond was worth.
In fact, she was surprised to see how low-key she was. Otherwise, with billions in assets like that, and yet living measly like she was, how could her former masters even do something like that?
When Ruby heard Garnet, the newcomer, saying that; she was embarrassed a little. Even a newcomer believed in her sister and yet she kept on questioning her.
She couldn’t be blamed, though. Her sister had never mentioned anything related to the club and all of a sudden, she could bring them there.
It wasn’t like Diamond told her or the parents how much she had in total. Except for what she shared about the ring and high tech she got; they knew nothing.
It was a bit upsetting, but at the same time, she understood that knowing too much can be very dangerous for them as well.
"I am sorry, big sis. It’s still very shocking for me that we are going there!" Ruby, in the end, apologized as she looked at her sister through the mirror solemnly.
