Chapter 217 - 215: SHOPPING 2
"Sister, why are buying so many?" Ruby asked confusingly as she looked at her sister who was all smiles as she walked with her hands behind her back.
"Hehe, more is better, don’t you think?"
"You ... sister, one of those freezers costs A$10,000. I mean we already have a few at home, so why are we buying more again?" Ruby complained with frustration.
Honestly, Diamond didn’t lack money that was something that she knew. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be spending money doing charitable deeds when the foundation had never earned a fraction of what is used daily.
She didn’t know how much money and how rich Diamond was but she was very rich and that was the truth.
However, wasting money like that, wasn’t something good, and it was actually very concerning.
At home, Cherry Court, there was one deep freezer like that which was used to hold meat which wasn’t to be consumed right there. All meat used at the moment was stored in another fridge in the kitchen and the fridge was very huge.
At the foundation, there were also several freezers, though they were for the restaurant. Even in the basement of the foundation, there was a cold room, and it was mainly used to store chicken and other meat for the grocery store which also has its own freezers as well.
Even at the farm, she had seen more freezers. What she was trying to showcase here was how there was no need for any more freezers.
Diamond stopped in her tracks to look at the frustrated Ruby and flicked her nose playfully.
"I want to put them at the new villa. Besides, have you forgotten what I told you about before?" Diamond responded mildly to Ruby.
