Chapter 5
Diamond didn't mind people looking at her now. In fact, she was actually proud, as it had been a very long time since she positively drew anyone's attention.
When she walked into the building, the receptionist welcomed her warmly despite her cheap clothes. As she was someone with an appointment, they took directly her to the manager's office.
As soon as she saw the middle-aged man. The first thing that she did was to, "I am very sorry for coming late," saying apologetically to him with a faint smile on her face.
One needed to accept when wrong and she was surely in the wrong this time, so apologizing wasn't an embarrassing matter.
The manager, to be honest, was very shocked when Diamond walked in. For someone to afford a villa in Cherry Court, it meant that the person was a big shot.
He wasn't expecting to see a pretty face wearing clothes that didn't even cost A$500 altogether to be the owner of that villa.
He had always known that one shouldn't judge the book by its cover. He also wasn't expecting for the other to apologize as these rich people rarely put others in their eyes, so his impression of Diamond rose.
"Haha, it's okay. I hope that everything went well."
Diamond smiled brightly when she thought of everything that happened after leaving that forsaken office, "it was perfect. So, what do I need to do?"
