Instead of responding to her so-called love with appreciation, Dave sneered in disgust. "And who exactly deserves me? You?"
Dave had no issues with the working class or those employed as servants; he didn’t judge them based on their occupations.
Instead, he valued integrity and professionalism. Although he could be quite lazy at times, he made it a point to deliver results that exceeded expectations whenever he does his work.

Upon hearing Dave mock her feelings for him, the maid’s face drained of color. Her lips trembled as tears streamed down her cheeks.
The butler, equally taken aback, valued the maid for her competence and the camaraderie she shared with the other staff.
Yet, he never imagined she harbored such intense feelings for their master.
The maid felt her love ridiculed and betrayed by the very man she adored. "Master Dave, I may be just a lowly servant in your household, but you have no right to question the sincerity of my feelings for you."
"They are pure and genuine. Out of love, I only wanted to protect you and shield you from women who seek to use you. Everything I’ve done is for your sake!" She sobbed, her voice breaking, the anguish in her words more genuine than before.
"Love me? You think this is for my sake? What do you mean by ’pure’ and ’genuine’ love?" Dave scoffed, his eyes narrowing dangerously, a menacing glint evident in his gaze.
