It started with a live stream in the campus forum and once it gained traction, they shifted to social media to ensure a wide audience, aiming to have numerous witnesses to the events.
They boldly tagged Hera’s official account, ensuring her fans were immediately notified of the campus parking lot gossip. One of the bodyguards even crafted a compelling title to pique the curiosity of passersby, drawing attention to the unfolding events.

Minerva, without access to any of her gadgets, couldn’t counter the trolls trying to twist the situation. Rafael, on the other hand, eagerly fanned the flames while watching the live stream on his phone as he headed to the campus. The stream had been running for a while, alerting all six of them who were now racing to reach her first.
Xavier, tied overseas, could only watch the unfolding drama through his phone, fists clenched in frustration.
"Hera, please, let me explain!" Alexi tugged at Hera’s arm, attempting to pull her away from the crowd for a private conversation, but his knees were weak and his body ached from being thrown over Hera’s shoulder and hitting the hard ground. "Let’s talk this out, okay?"

Her tear-stained face and sorrowful voice overshadowed Alexi’s attempts to appear pitiful, hoping to sway Hera’s emotions even slightly. He hoped his display would elicit sympathy from bystanders and convince Hera to reconsider, pleading for another chance.
He aimed to emotionally manipulate her, using the crowd’s sway to influence her emotions and decision-making. If she agreed, he planned to ensure she couldn’t leave him, possibly even confining her in his own home to prevent her escape. He was willing to clip her wings and keep her in a gilded cage if necessary to ensure she stayed by his side.
But he had underestimated Hera’s own acting abilities and her adeptness at controlling her emotions. Amidst her tear-streaked face and choked sobs, Alexi couldn’t discern whether her words were genuine.
