"I’m glad you’re not angry that we handled it without telling you," Luke said, smiling slightly with a hint of self-reproach in his expression as he looked at her.
Seeing him like that, Hera couldn’t stay angry any longer, so she shook her head. "No, even if you had done something else, it wouldn’t have hindered my plan. Besides, what you guys did was almost the same as what my company was about to do—what I have in stock was more of a retaliation than fixing the issue. So, I’m actually more than grateful to all of you." Hera smiled, the sincerest smile she could muster.
Now that she thought about it, she hadn’t expected Leo to integrate so well with the other five. Now, she felt like she had six knights in shining armor, and now she felt like she understood how Alice felt in the novel, being protected by such men.
She didn’t know whether to feel fortunate or unfortunate to have one more knight than Alice. Then, a memory surged into her mind, nearly making her laugh and cry at the same time.

His question was straightforward, delivered with a gentle demeanor that matched his touch.
Hera was taken aback. It was the first time someone had asked her permission before acting on their desires. While she had previously told Rafael that he couldn’t take liberties without consent, she now found herself contemplating how different this approach felt and realized that if he had, she would have felt embarrassed and found reasons to refuse.
But now, seeing Luke being so honest and precise with his intentions left Hera at a loss. She felt that if she disagreed, she might seem like she was playing hard to get, but agreeing might make her appear too easy.
