Chapter 75 Live Broadcast
Daisy approached Hera’s bed to retrieve the remote for the window curtains. As the curtains glided open, light filtered into the dimly lit room, revealing Hera’s silhouette to those present and to the audience tuning in to the live stream.
[AuntieNextDoor: Awww!!! Isn’t she beautiful!!!!!]
[HornyDog: I want to be her hotdog pillow!!!]
[PasserbyGod: She’s not working here as a maid??? What’s going on exactly???]
[ImNotAlexiFan: Isn’t it obvious? She might have paid the servants in that place to let her use it for a while, while the real owner is away...]
No one could refute that notion, especially considering that many shared the same thought. Given how much effort and work Hera had to put into maintaining her previous apartment, the sudden upgrade to this luxurious penthouse raised eyebrows. Despite her hard work, it seemed implausible that she could afford such a lavish lifestyle solely through her part-time job.
"Sister Hera, wake up..." Daisy gently shook Hera’s body, trying to rouse her from sleep. Instead of waking, Hera merely stirred, shifting to the other side of her big bed, momentarily blinded by the light streaming in through the window.
"Ugh! So bright..." Hera groaned, using her hotdog pillow as a makeshift shield against the light, yet still not opening her eyes.
The room was filled with the soothing scent of lavender, casting a refreshing and calming ambiance for everyone present.
Daisy persisted, continuing to shake Hera’s body until, after about five minutes, Hera groggily opened her eyes. Blinking away sleep, she stared at Daisy, who then took a step back, giving Hera some space as she slowly sat up.
As Hera’s blurry vision cleared, she suddenly snapped into awareness, her expression stunned. Her brain momentarily froze as she realized there was a camera pointed at her, capturing her asleep in her own bed.
