Just like that, with no further explanation, Jasmine found herself back in Los Angeles.
She stepped out of the private jet with her luggage while Kingsley set some things up in the jet before climbing down as well.
Elliot and a few bodyguards were outside, waiting for them with three black expensive cars on standby.
Jasmine let out a deep breath when Elliot came forward and took one of her bags. The others helped carry the luggage while Jasmine went to the second car, a Lamborghini. She sat in the backseat with her backpack. Silently waiting for Kingsley to come join her.
She grabbed a bottle of water and swallowed some of her pills. After which, she closed the bag again.
She didn’t need to wait long before Kingsley joined her at the back. His brows were tightly furrowed as he typed on his phone viciously. His fingers dancing on the screen.
He totally ’ignored’ Jasmine as he remained focused on whatever or whoever he was dealing with.
Jasmine didn’t say anything to him either. She brought out her phone and sent Nicole a text.
{ Hey, I’m back in town.} She pressed the send button before dipping it back into her backpack.
Jasmine didn’t expect a reply from Nicole because it was evening already and Nicole must be preparing to go bring Hailey from the daycare.
It was exactly 10 P.m. when they reached the Elm mansion. She was about to pull open the car door when Kingsley called out to her.
