Chapter 64 Incapable Of Love
"I think the view is more beautiful on this side," Jasmine said as she sipped from her soda.
Kingsley chuckled beside her as they both stared at the thousands or maybe billions of stars in the sky.
They just finished eating the barbecue Kingsley grilled for them both. She was in charge of watching, staring mindlessly and lustily at him.
Kingsley was unbelievably ’delicious’ to the lustful wife that night. He was wearing a thin black shirt and black pants. His hair was tied at the back with black ribbon which was unlike his usual style.
They grilled the barbecue close to the tent. Kingsley set up a fire outside the tent to keep them warm as they lay inside the tent, sipping from their sodas.
The night breeze wasn’t so bone-chilling, it was moderate. The fresh smell of wet musky earth and smoke filled the air.
Cracking sounds came from the fire, setting up a romantic atmosphere for both couples who just silently enjoyed each other’s company.
"You know, I bought this place the year I lost my parents." Kingsley suddenly said.
"At what age?" Jasmine asked instead and it made Kingsley smile.
He wasn’t the one to tell people about his parents or anything related to his affairs but when he did, he always regretted it. Simply because it’s either they reply with "I’m sorry" or "Oh, that’s sad".
He hated the speeches, the sad notes, and all that. But Jasmine just beat his imagination.
