Chapter 20 Scared Of Losing His Wife
Kingsley had to painstakingly watch Jasmine talking with Jones and it riled him up. He didn’t want to seem jealous so he decided to go sit on the couch while waiting for Jasmine to be done.
Even after doing that, his eyes won’t stop wandering towards Jasmine and Jones. His eyes held anger as he watched them talk and laugh as if they were old friends.
’Screw Jones.’ He cursed multiple times in his head, promising himself to deal with Jones after this. How dare him flirt with his wife!!?
Raymond stepped away from Jasmine and Jones as he walked towards Kingsley who was almost sulking. Raymond silently sat on the couch close to his while looking at Kingsley who was staring at the two people who were checking out the dresses.
It was still early so Jasmine took her time to inspect the dress. It was difficult settling for one dress so she turned to face Kingsley. "Husband, it is very difficult choosing between these dresses, can’t I take everything?" She pleaded with her eyes and Kingsley sighed softly, his glare decreased when he saw how she begged.
But he nevertheless, cleared his throat and acted nonchalant as he declared. "They are all yours to begin with, you just have to choose which one you will wear tonight."
Jasmine’s eyes lighten up in excitement. "Really?? I had no idea. Thank you." She giggled before starting to stare at the black dress in her hand, a big smile on her face.
Jones let out an awkward cough, he exchanged looks with Kingsley who glared at him.
’Since when was she the owner of all the dresses? He only requested for one dress.’ J Tim or rather, Jones echoed in his head. Nevertheless, he was happy because he would be getting double the price of these dresses from Kingsley. It was a great win for him.
