Reborn Heiress: Married To My Ex-Husband's Rival

Chapter 10 I Won’t Hurt Her

As if something clicked in his head, Kingsley's grip on Mr Moore's thigh loosened instantly and he stood up quickly, he took a few steps away from Mr. Moore who was still shivering like a catfish, just like his butler.

Kingsley stood there awkwardly before saying. "Your daughter is safe with me. Rest assured, I won't hurt her." He said calmly, making Mr Moore a little shocked by the tone.

Mr Moore's eyes widened in surprise at the next statement Kingsley said "I would never hurt her" and for some reason, he sounded so sincere..As if he meant every word.

His eyes that made people wet their pants the moment he laid it on them, those eyes now held a sort of calmness and sincerity.

Kingsley stood at a distance, looking at Mr Moore. He meant that promise—after all, he never liked for a woman to be manhandled especially not his wife.

Anybody who disrespect his wife was also disrespecting him and he doesn't tolerate disrespect from anyone.

Moreover, he figured that he would have to take care of Jasmine too since she was sick with a brain tumor. He won't concern himself too much but he knows he can't avoid this.

"So, where is she?" He asked a little impatiently when he gazed at his watch. It was long past curfew time. He chanted in his head that he was only being this considerate because of his grandpa.

He needed Jasmine to go see his grandpa the following day for dinner.

"Of course, she's in her room. Just tell my husband to bring out the keys from his mouth" Margaret's annoyed-sarcastic voice rolled out, catching the men's attention.

She was standing on the stairs, her eyes glaring at her husband whose face was dripping wet with sweat. She mocked him inwardly.
