Chapter 6. The Beginning Of Misfortune
Jasmine could hear the whispers around but she didn't concentrate on that. She was aware that everyone was in shock and they weren't expecting to see Kingsley Elm who has a bad reputation.
She intentionally did not look at her parents because she was sure they would start to question her.
Jack was the worst, he roughly grabbed her arm and whispered-yelled at her "What the fuck is wrong with you, Jasmine?? Why him? Why are you doing this?" His eyes were almost red in anger.
Jasmine's jaw tightened as anger built up in her chest. She tried to release her arm from his grip but he tightened his grip more as he growled with killing intents in his eyes "Revoke your words now!!" He threatened in a low voice.
The priest tried to intervene but Jack sent him a death glare, making him pause.
"Take your filthy hands off her if you would love to still keep them for a while!" Kingsley threatened, his loud voice descending in the hall as he walked straight towards the aisle.
His presence seemed to have magnet everyone's eyes on him, his back was straight as he walked in long strides towards the aisle.
Jack loosened his grip a little with a deep frown on his face. Jasmine's brows joined together in anger as she took a step away from Jack.
Kingsley reached the aisle and came towards Jasmine. He stood close to her, she raised her head to stare at him but he just looked straight ahead, holding gazes with Jack.
"Kingsley Elm..." Jack growled and Kingsley just smirked when he saw the veins popping on Jack's forehead.
How much he loved this sight! He loves to trample on this little 'ant' called Jack.
