Yunfeng was once again in that dreamlike state...
He was back in that familiar room. The one with the pale walls and the missing posters hung like quiet memories. But this time, it felt different. There were no floating screens flickering. Just one screen was hung close to the bed, glowing dimly. Switched on. Waiting.
His eyes drifted slowly to the bed.
Hana was there. His little sister.
She was sitting on the mattress, quietly typing something.
To be honest, since the last time he saw her—she had changed a lot. The dark circles that had always sat stubbornly under her eyes were gone. Her face looked less tight, her skin less pale. She looked like someone who had finally slept. Finally eaten. Finally lived a little.
Yunfeng walked over slowly and sat by her bedside. His eyes stayed on her face, drinking in the sight. A soft, quiet smile played on his lips as he watched her.
For a second, Hana turned her head slightly—her gaze lifting in his direction, like she could feel him watching. Like some thread still connected them even across time and states of being.
But she just blinked and went back to typing.
Yunfeng sighed silently and stood up.
His eyes moved to the screen on the wall. It was obviously meant for him.
