Yunfeng rubbed his aching chin, muttering under his breath, "That hurts..."
"Yeah, it better fucking hurt!"
Muchen stormed ahead, fists clenched so tightly his knuckles were white. His furious glare alone was enough to make Yunfeng feel like he’d rather face another horde of zombies than his pissed-off, pregnant lover.
"You fucking go around throwing bombs at zombies. And you think I’m okay with that?!" Muchen snapped, whirling around.
Yunfeng opened his mouth, but Muchen cut him off, voice trembling.
"I saw what happened! I saw you both get swarmed! Do you even understand what that felt like?! What do you think I was feeling, Yunfeng? Huh?! What if you didn’t make it back? What the fuck would I do then?"
His breath hitched, and Yunfeng saw something that made his stomach tighten—Muchen’s hands were shaking.
Before Yunfeng could say anything, his shoulder was suddenly slammed—hard.
"You ass!"
Hana’s furious voice rang out, and Yunfeng staggered slightly before glaring at his little sister.
"Okay, I already got punched for that," he grumbled, rubbing his shoulder.
