Chapter 110 - Car crash
Muchen’s heart pounded in his chest as he threw on his jacket, his movements frantic. He couldn’t waste a second—Yunfeng was in s city and he needed to get there as fast as possible.
Shāo, who had been quietly observing Muchen’s disarray, approached him slowly. His eyes softened, but his voice was firm. "Muchen, calm down."
"You calm down!" Muchen snapped, slamming the door as he rushed out of the house. "im taking your car."
Shāo followed him, his face lined with worry. "Muchen...please just stop and calm yourself. "
Muchen didn’t answer. He was already in the car, starting the engine with a harsh turn of the key. The engine roared to life, but inside, Muchen’s thoughts were far from calm.
He needed answers now!
Shāo slid into the passenger seat, trying to steady his own racing pulse.
He glanced over at Muchen, whose knuckles were white as he gripped the steering wheel.
"You okay?" Shāo asked, his voice quiet, trying to mask the concern that was starting to show.
