Chapter 88 - Happy breakfast
Yunfeng happily took a big bite of the omelet, but as soon as the taste hit his tongue, he froze. It was like swallowing a spoonful of pure salt.
His smile faltered, but since his lover made it, he forced a grin, bit down hard, and somehow managed to swallow it whole.
"Whoa, slow down there! Chew your food," Muchen said with a chuckle, reaching over to gently wipe the corner of Yunfeng’s mouth with a tissue. "How is it?"
"Very... good," Yunfeng mumbled through his stuffed cheeks, his eyes watering a bit from the overwhelming saltiness.
Muchen blushed, his cheeks turning a soft shade of pink, and he smiled dazzlingly. "Oh... I’ve never tried cooking before. I wanted to make something just for you." He carefully cut into his own omelet, but before the fork could reach his lips, Yunfeng lunged across the table and swiped the plate.
Mouth agape, he watched as Yunfeng shoved the second omelet down without hesitation.
"It’s too tasty! I can’t help myself!" Yunfeng said with a strained smile, nearly gagging from the salty overload but keeping his composure like a champion.
He washed the taste down with a full glass of orange juice, trying not to wince. "Since I ate yours... I’ll make you one!"
"Oh, you don’t have to—" Muchen began, but Yunfeng was already dashing into the kitchen like his life depended on it.
