Chapter 59 - Whipped
Muchen stood there, panting in anger. And when all those feelings had been blurted out in words, he started to feel a wave of embarrassment wash over him. ’What did I just do?’
His shocked eyes fell on Yunfeng, who was looking up at him, eyes wide open.
’Oh my god! Why did I behave like that? That is not like me! I didn’t mean to be so violent. I’m never violent! What if Yunfeng thinks I’m that kind of guy? We are still in a delicate period! Oh my god, he is going to hate me.’ He opened his mouth to explain himself, but no words came out.
"Why are you gaping like a fish?" the annoying guy named Jai muttered, patting his dusty back.
"I... I didn’t mean to..." Muchen gazed at Yunfeng. "I’m never like that... I don’t know what came over me."
Yunfeng blinked at him. ’I think I know why... his rut period might be close.’
He had heard from other omegas whispers that when the alpha is during a rut period, they start to get extremely possessive of their omega. Some have even gone to the extent of imprisoning their omegas for a few days until the rut was over. Because if their mate was approached by someone else, they might lose their wits and attack them.
’Gosh... is this what is going on?’ He reached out and gently held Muchen’s trembling hand. "I know... it’s okay. I understand... but Jai is my best friend. I don’t see him in a romantic way. His touches don’t make me feel like yours." He said in a subtle whisper.
Muchen froze like a statue. "R-really? I’m special?"
