Chapter 52 - Embarrassed
His testosterone levels did not go down even late in the evening, so the doctors had no option but to admit him for the night. As soon as he heard of this, he panicked.
"What if they find out I’m different... I don’t want to be experimented on?" he anxiously gazed at his mom. "Please, let’s just go! I don’t want to be here."
"Silence. They are doing further tests on you. Just rest, okay? Mum will be right here," she soothingly massaged his frowning forehead.
"But I can’t be here!"
A group of nurses and doctors rolled into the room and started to talk in medical jargon. This only made him panic even more.
He jumped out of bed and tried to run out, but he was soon caught and sedated.
’I’m so dead...’ was the last thought he had before he succumbed to a dreamless sleep.
The next morning, he woke up refreshed and completely energetic. He hurriedly glanced around in panic. ’Did they shut me in a prison-like room and take out my organs!’ He looked around but he was still in that private room.
’Hmm...’ he relaxed subtly.
