Chapter 40 - Secret boyfriend
A soft scent of rose filled his nostrils. Yunfeng froze for a second. His fingers tightly clutched the pillow in his hand. "Wait... it’s not perfume... it’s pheromone..."
A soft pillow hit him smack on the face.
"Got you, sucker!" Hana shouted, giggling loudly.
Yunfeng looked around confusedly. It was clearly the scent of an alpha. And the alpha he was very familiar with had that same pheromone.
No two alphas had the same scent. It was like a fingerprint. It was also used as an identifying factor in the future.
But in this timeframe, there was no such thing.
He hurriedly ran to the window and gazed out into the dark street.
A black car stood a bit far from their house. It was a Range Rover and stood out on a small street.
Yunfeng squinted his eyes, trying to get a good look inside. Sadly, the windows were tinted, so he wasn’t able to look in.
’Muchen? Is he here?’
He pulled out his phone and hurriedly made a call. ’Isn’t he supposed to be in the hospital? Why is he running around?’
