Chapter 26 - Dying?!
Shao hurriedly drove him to the nearby hospital. "I’m telling you, this is karma for bullying that kid."
"Mnnn, shut up, will you?" Muchen tightly clutched his stomach. He did not know why, but the moment he saw Yunfeng crying, he felt a surge in his stomach. The pain started to get worse after that. ’Why is it hurting so much? Oh God..." he cried softly.
"Just wait a bit, buddy. We are here."
"Then why aren’t we inside?" He glared up at him.
"I’m searching for a parking spot." Shao started to sweat from anxiety. Ever since he had agreed to be this guy’s agent, he had been taking care of his livelihood. And he had to admit, it was kind of a tough job. But Muchen never got sick, so he never had to worry about that. But suddenly, seeing him rolling over in pain, he could not stay calm.
"There!" He swiftly parked the car. "Wait, your mask," he pulled a mask from the glove box and put it on Muchen’s face. "It’s going to be fine, okay?" He helped him out and into the hospital ER.
A nurse came to them immediately. "Hi, welcome to the ER. What seems to be the problem today?"
"His... his stomach hurts." He pulled Muchen close to him.
"Okay, sir, can you fill this out, please? I’ll have a doctor check him out as soon as a bed is available."
Shao anxiously glanced up at her. "He’s in too much pain. Can’t he be admitted now?"
"Sir, earlier we had an accident, so all the beds are full. I’ll let you know when a bed is free. The wait time won’t be long," she assured him with a smile and went back to her station.
