Chapter 2 - Knocked out
The walk to his school was definitely a walk of shame. Lin Yunfeng could not even raise his head as he felt so many gazes focused on him. He was abnormally sensitive to it today.
Jai gently pulled him to the side, helping him avoid a nearby alpha who was loitering around. "So, you’re an omega? How did they sniff it out, though? They’re like dogs in heat."
Lin Yunfeng lowered his head even more. "My life is ruined... Jai... when I’m taken by the government, I want you to find me. Don’t let my disappearance go unnoticed."
Jai jokingly ruffled his untamed hair. "You’re imagining stuff, man. It won’t be that bad."
"I hope so..." Lin Yunfeng’s mood improved slightly.
Jai pulled him into a side hug. "Are you going to let this small thing ruin your life, or are you going to own it to your advantage?"
He clenched his fists tightly. "I can’t give up just because of this small hiccup. I have to fight through this. I will be the best omega in the whole wide world!" he roared and ran into the school gates.
"Wait for me, dude!" Jai ran in after him.
Meeting the government agents was not as bad as Lin Yunfeng had imagined. No one treated him differently. In fact, they didn’t even bother with him. They just made him sign some registration documents, and he was sent back to his class.
That was it.
Nothing else was different from any normal day he would spend in school.
