My Ex-Husband Begged Me to Take Him Back

Chapter 321: Intimacy at the office

Ava stared at him intently. This was the same man who was once cold and distant. Yet here he was now, speaking with such tenderness that it left her speechless. If someone had told her back then that Dylan Brooks could love like this, she would have laughed.

But now? She believed every word. She had witnessed the transformation.

Dylan shifted under her unwavering gaze, his brows lifting in mild confusion. "What are you looking at?"

Her lips curled into a mischievous smile. "I’m just picturing you with a bald head and a pot belly. No teeth, wrinkled skin, and struggling to see me through thick glasses."

He chuckled. "But even then, I’ll still hold your trembling hands tightly..." He reached out, fingers brushing against hers, "...and kiss you like this."

Before she could respond, he held her chin and leaned in, pressing his lips gently against hers. "And I’ll whisper, I love you, Ava," he murmured between kisses.

Ava smiled against his lips. "And I’ll always reply, I love you too, Dylan."

Dylan wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her onto his lap. Her soft curves fit perfectly against his frame, and she instinctively tilted her head back, surrendering to the moment as his lips claimed hers once more.

The kiss deepened, growing more urgent, more consuming. His hand trailed along her spine, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them.

"You are irresistible," he groaned, his eyes darkened with raw desire. "I can’t hold back, Ava. I want you. Right here, right now."

Dylan had waited—patiently, almost painfully—for three long months. He had restrained himself, putting her health and the baby above his desires. But now that the first trimester was over and the doctor had given the green light, the wall he had built around his longing finally crumbled.
