Ethan’s hands trembled as he flipped through the documents. It was legal documents to revoke the shares and properties the Williams had given him.
His brows furrowed deeper with every line he read, the words hammering into his skull like the toll of a death knell.
The realization struck him like a lightning bolt—Thomas had suspected him long before he even noticed. His face turned pale instantly his fingers tightening around the edges of the paper. But it was the next set of documents that truly sent a chill down his spine.

A cold sweat broke across his skin. ’They knew. They knew all along.’
