My Ex-Husband Begged Me to Take Him Back

Chapter 122: Bouquets of roses.

When Ava stepped into her office, she froze at the sight of her desk, covered with vibrant bouquets of roses in every shade imaginable. The rich reds, soft pinks, creamy whites, and sunny yellows created a stunning display that momentarily left her speechless. The soft fragrance wafted into the air.

"What on earth..." she murmured, walking toward her seat, her eyes wide with disbelief. Her fingers brushed against the delicate petals of one bouquet. Confusion knit her brows as she picked up the bouquet. "Who could have sent these?"

She saw a card amidst the flowers and took it in her hand, but there was no name, no note. Just flowers. ’Could this be Dylan’s doing?’

Knock-Knock...

A soft knock interrupted her musings. The door creaked open slightly, and Justin peeked inside.

"May I come in?" he asked.

"Yes," Ava replied, setting the bouquet back on the desk as she took her seat.

Justin stepped in, holding yet another bouquet. "Good morning, Madam," he greeted warmly, extending the fresh bunch of roses toward her. "This is for you."

Ava accepted the bouquet, her mind spinning. The sight of flowers in her hands was surreal. Dylan had been cold, distant, and often dismissive—had never once made such a gesture. Why now? And was it really his idea?

Her gaze sharpened as she looked up at Justin, suspicion flickering in her eyes. "This was your idea, wasn’t it? You probably nudged Dylan into buying flowers for me."

Justin’s grin faltered, and he waved his hands frantically. "No, no! Absolutely not my idea. Mr. Brooks called me himself and told me to arrange flowers for you. He even picked the colors! I just carried out the order. I hope you like these."
