Chapter 517: Reiner - How Romantic
“Fine...” I muttered before stuffing a spoonful of food into my mouth and began munching on it.
Reiner watched me with amusement in his eyes before he started to laugh softly at me. Despite what he said, I could feel that he was at least slightly happy to hear that from me. He was right about him being healthy, though. Reiner was much healthier and fitter than I was. While living together, I didn’t fail to notice how disciplined he was with taking care of his health. He was discipline about everything including his diet, his workout routine, and he still continued with his training even though he doesn’t go on missions anymore. It came to no surprise as to why Reiner’s body was in good shape and so was his mind.
“Can you help review my report after dinner? I’m almost done so I really want to get your thoughts,” I requested.
“Sure. You don’t have to worry too much about the language and such as long as the truth is there and it’s concise,” Reiner replied reassuringly.
“I’m a little nervous. This is my first time sending a report directly to King so...” I confessed softly.
“You’re right. I’ll help you,” Reiner agreed without pause.
“Thank you!” I thanked him cheerfully.
After dinner, Reiner sat at the table while I stood by his side as he read the report that I had typed up. Although I made sure to include all the necessary facts and our observations, I wasn’t confident whether the report would live up to King’s expectations. There was also the issue of me worrying endlessly about what would happen to Celine and her team. Although I knew that they were in the wrong here, I still felt bad for exposing their wicked scheme. I had no idea what punishment would await them if King were to find out about what they had been doing.
“Overall, it seems ok,” Reiner commented with his eyes still on the report.
