“I guess, if you make it clear to her about us and how you feel about her then maybe it can help her to move on. You could encourage her to move on and find her own happiness, you know...” I suggested.
I knew that he knew that I was talking about. It was a hard conversation and I understood that, but it would be better for Rachael if she can move on from him. Of course, it would be better for me too if she can find happiness with some other man that is not my husband.
“I’ll talk to her if you want me to,” Reiner said, and it was clear that he no longer saw any need for us to discuss this topic any further.
“Thank you...” I replied with an appreciative smile.
Although he wasn’t passionate about the topic, I guessed that it was good enough that he was willing to go along with it for my sake. Deep down, I honestly wished the best for Rachael. Moving on was the best option for her.
